Connect Coylton's players
Bring interested players, parents and volunteers together around a recognisable local identity and a shared place to play.
The court is already here. Let's grow the game.
Coylton has a squash court in its Activity Centre, but no established squash club based around it. Our ambition is to bring people together, introduce more juniors to the sport and help this local facility become a thriving place to play.

Coylton Activity Centre already has a squash court, bringing the sport within easy reach of the village and nearby communities. The facility provides a practical starting point for growing participation without needing a new building.
There is no established Coylton squash club to revive. Instead, the proposal is to create a recognisable local club community around the existing court, helping players connect and giving more people a reason to try squash.
Working with the Activity Centre and local volunteers, we'd like to explore junior introductions, family tasters and welcoming opportunities for adults—supporting more regular bookings and making better use of an existing community asset.
Proposed club: Coylton Squash Club is a development ambition, not an existing organised club. No coached sessions, club nights, membership or league team have been confirmed.

South Ayrshire Council lists squash among the activities available to book at Coylton Activity Centre. You don't need to wait for a future club to enquire about playing on the existing court.
Coylton Activity CentreThis isn't about restarting an old club. Coylton already has the facility; the next step is connecting it to people. A new community identity could bring more local players together, increase court use and help juniors discover squash without travelling further afield.
Bring interested players, parents and volunteers together around a recognisable local identity and a shared place to play.
Explore school links, beginner tasters and introductory coaching in partnership with the venue, subject to agreement and demand.
Encourage repeat bookings, support awareness of the existing court and grow sustainable local participation over time.
Children in and around Coylton should be able to discover squash close to home. The existing court could make that possible.
Our ambition is to work with local partners to explore age-appropriate introductions, family sessions and coaching pathways. These are aspirations, not currently scheduled activities.

Ayrshire Squash is a development identity working within West Squash to widen participation across the region. Coylton could become part of that connected community by linking the existing court to new players, junior opportunities, shared coaching knowledge and local volunteers.
